Welcome to the homepage of The Hub: Boston's Online Literary Occasional. Founded in 2005 and sponsored by the Boston Fiction Festival, the Hub is a free online source for high-quality, crafted literary fiction and poetry from across the globe.

We are committed to helping sustain a vibrant literary culture that is beginning to find its home here on the internet. Each issue will contain an interview with an established author who hails from or currently lives in greater Boston.

The content of this journal, however, has no boundaries or qualifications. Write well, and you will be duly considered. New voices will be considered along side familiar names – every submission gets read here at The Hub.

In the due course of things, the endeavor may grow. Will we go to print? It is certainly possible. Will we include essays, reviews, and criticism? That door is not shut either. The goal is always quality though. Not deadlines. Hence this journal is "occasional" – cultivating a strong issue takes time.
